Set A Soothing Soundtrack

Kate Ogata is decidedly a morning person. The San Francisco-based influencer enjoys getting up early, pouring herself a hot cup of coffee, and sorting through emails while wearing her Intimissimi silk pajama set before planning her day. But an organized inbox and healthy to-do list aren’t the only things that keep Ogata inspired and motivated — music has always been a way for her to recharge her creative juices. “Some of my fondest memories are from high school, driving around on a warm summer night listening to the same CD on repeat, pretending my life was a music video,” says Ogata.

Cultivate An Ambiance Of Calm

Another thing that inspires Ogata is making sure her home has a calm atmosphere, which means clutter is a no-no. “When the house is tidy, I feel at ease (you were right, mom) and it opens up a space for me to think and be creative,” she says. For Tiffany Battle, practicing gratitude is a huge part of her self-care regimen. The NYC-based influencer starts each day with prayer, journaling, a guided meditation, and identifying at least three things she’s grateful for. These morning rituals help Battle find a sense of tranquility in the often-stressful world we live in today. “We can find ourselves in a consistent state of doing and not being,” explains Battle. Allow Some Spontaneity

Like Ogata, “creating a vibe through music” is another way Battle connects with herself and taps into her creativity. She also enjoys what she calls “floating in the wind,” which is when she takes advantage of slower days by simply seeing where the hours take her. “I literally wake up and do whatever pops into my head,” she says. This can lead to brunch, hiking, shopping, reading, meeting up with a friend, or simply indulging in some extra sleep in Intimissimi's silk pajama set.

Battle feels most beautiful when she’s “in alignment” with the flow of the universe. “I wake up feeling authentic gratitude and joy for life,” she says.
